Senior Mechanical Engineers
This role involves high-level mechanical research, design and analysis requiring the application of advanced CAD and analysis tools including finite element analysis, fatigue life prediction tools, casting simulation and data acquisition techniques. A solid foundation in design and engineering analysis is required and training will be provided for conversion between specific CAD and CAE packages.
Qualifications and Attributes required are:
- graduate (min) but preferably post-graduate degree in mechanical engineering
- advanced numerical and analytical capability
- advanced CAD
- 15+ years experience including machinery design
CNC Programmers
To provide full technical support to all manufacturing areas for modification, development & control of CNC Machine programs. To identify & implement manufacturing methoding & Cutting Data improvements based on QCD Indices. To work within an existing team of programmers meeting deadlines to support maximum ‘Overall Equipment Effectiveness’ & Product Quality conformity
Qualifications and Attributes required are:
- HNC Mechanical/Production Engineering
- Mastercam literate
- Mill Turn Multi Axes Lathe programming
- Horizontal Machining Centre Programming
- Vericut experience useful
- Spectrum of Materials, Component Sizes and Machining Operations
- Ability to Prove Out
- Practical hands on experience
Manufacturing Cell Leader
To take full responsibility for the delivery of product against the production plan ensuring on time, cost effective delivery of a quality product. The position forms part of the manufacturing management team and will contribute to tactical decision making and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Attributes required are:
- proven track record managing a machine shop or manufacturing cell
- focus on continuous improvement of CNC machining and assembly areas
- working knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- relevant HNC minimum qualification
CAD/CAM Engineer
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, you will provide CAD modelling of impellor & tailpipe rotor & stator designs for new products, whilst providing day to day support for existing products. The role will also involve design & manufacture of dies associated with specialised casting processes. You will be totally conversant with a Unigraphics CAD / CAM operating environment and high speed 5 axis routing. The role requires a high level of collaborative work between Development, Design and Manufacturing Engineers together with a hands-on approach during the new product introduction phase.
Qualifications and Attributes required are:
- Degree Qualified Engineer
- Unigraphics Expert User
- Impeller / propeller Pattern and Die Design desirable
- Familiar with High Speed Vertical Routing Highly Desirable
